Very different outlook, especially coming from a Canadian. My thoughts are if Americans would have the same mindset and unite like the name says, “UNITED States of America” then we could fix the problems of today. If we don’t we will see the problems of today become yet another problem of tomorrow.

Your struggle is a universal one. So many paths open but which one to choose? and then, how to stay on it?

From my own experience I have found that exercising the following will assist any in their quest:

Honesty of Mind
Sincerity of Spirit
Detachment

Exercised daily will bring about Self Realisation or whatever term one might give it.

Detachemnt is probably the most difficult to achieve. One must recognise that they are NOT their Body or Mind or the ganglion of experience that most people think defines them.

Mental conditioning, that comes from our upbringing and the society we live in is a caustic substance that can (and usually does) hide the Truth from us.

To gain freedom from conditioning can be most difficult but execising the above WILL bring about that freedom and peace.

Mediation is often a great help but which one? They are all more or less a scientific method to bring the personality into a correct alignment with the source of its being. Meditation begins to build your bodies (physical, emotional and mental) with a finer quality of material. It is a gradual process and one must avoid pulling oneself to inspect the roots.

The "doing" in life is what really brings about change. When we are engaged in "doing", particularly for others, we forget about ourselves and really live.

Change is what life is, it is the only constant. One must look life squarely in the eye and see it as a challenge. If change disturbs us it because we have incorrect thought forms that define our reality.

The true government works from behind the shadows and is planning a one world global enterprise, or in other words the New World Order, many prez. have spoken in the open about this, thats why the policies with big government are so corrupt, it is about taking over and controlling the money of the population to control them as closely to a slave as you could be. Research it, other countries have used the same tyranny in the past to try and take their countries over( aka the new Health care takeover) Free Yourselves, Free your self from propaganda.
